Center for Excellence in Education is offering a Whale Watching field trip on February 26, 2004.

Departure Location is Pierpoint Landing, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA.  The phone number is 1-562-983-9300.  Departure time from Long Beach is 10:00 a.m.  We need to be at the landing no later than 9:30.  Students have to provide their own transportation.  You will need to bring warm clothing (rain or wetproof ), sneakers, and a sack lunch or money.  You may also bring a camera, binoculars, sunscreen, and (if you get sea sick) something that may help prevent motion sickness.  According to Mrs. Messler, we will be viewing gray whales.

We will be giving out more information soon and students who want to go will be asked to sign up.
